USWDA was established in 2000 by five Vietnam dog handlers who represented three branches of service and had the common bond of being K-9. Since we formed, US War Dogs has grown and developed to provide a lifetime of practical support for Military Working Dogs (MWDs) – both active and retired.

The War Dogs Guardian Program gives you the chance to be a special part of a like-minded community that wants to support MWDs; their handlers and adopted families. 

We look forward to sharing with you a host of unique content, initiatives and activities here within the membership area and we hope you enjoy this portal as we continue to develop the program for you.
