As part of our support for active-duty MWD teams, we provide care packages to help with the supply of dog gear and personal items. We have sent over 30,000 care packages in the last 20 years and will continue to offer this vital service to our dog teams who are serving our country.
Request a Care Package
If you are an active-duty Dog Handler in the Unites States Armed Forces, serving at home or abroad, you can request a care package from US War Dogs.
After surveying countless handlers, we have greatly enhanced the content of our care packages to ensure you receive quality items. We will continue to update our list and appreciate any feedback.
Please email us at carepackage@uswardogs.org and include the following information.
- Name
- Shipping Address
- How many teams at your location
- Any specialized gear request or our standard care packages

Support our Care Package Program
Thank you for choosing to support our troops, both two and four-legged, through our Care Package Program!
There are two ways that you can offer your help:
1) Donate to our mission where your money will be used to purchase and send the care packages to our K9 comrades and their handlers, across the globe.
Purchase an item for inclusion in our care packages from the list below. We have spent time collating feedback from a large number of active handlers who are out in the field, who told us the equipment and gear that is most useful to them, so this list comes straight from them.

Once you pick the items you would like to purchase, simply ship them straight to us and we’ll make sure they land with the dog teams who need the kit.
