EXT. JUNGLE HORIZON -- DUSK

Two Huey choppers and four Cobra gunships fly toward targets

in the Forest of Assassins.

INT. HUEY -- DUSK(LATER)

1st Squad stands in the doors. Bugs looks at the dog attached

to Hunter on a specially made sling. Hunter glances at Bugs

smirking at him. Extends his middle finger slowly.

A green light flashes. GO GO GO!!! THE SEALs LEAP OUT THE

DOORS. FALL TWENTY FEET TO THE WATER BELOW...

ON DEATH AND DESTRUCTION

Day in day out for a week Hotel Platoon wreaks havoc on the

enemy.

Ammo dumps explode and burn. A field hospital is overrun and

destroyed. A VC battalion ambushed and decimated.

.

Sampans are hit with heavy fire from SEAL team. VC leap

overboard and are cut down. Concussion grenades in the water

ensure their demise.

Everywhere Hotel Platoon goes only ashes and bones remain.

And always...Khan is just one step ahead of them.

EXT. RIVERBANK -- NIGHT

The SEALs lay near the river's edge hidden in jungle. The

FULL MOON peeks in and out of puffy clouds. Hooyah lays in

front of Hunter. Sniffing. Listening. Hunter taps him on the

shoulder. He stands. Stalks forward quietly. The SEALs

follow.

ON DOG

Hunter follows Hooyah through the

moonlit bush. He stops. Ears

swivel. Stares sniffing at

something in front of them. Hunter

STOPS his team. Weapons ready.

ALERT.

A twig SNAPS. Fingers tense on triggers. A BOAR BURSTS PAST.

NARROWLY MISSING HUNTER. Bugs grins. Hunter flips him off.

Grins back. Proceeds forward slowly. SEALs follow.

EXT. VC VILLAGE -- NIGHT(LATER)

The SEALs hide on the perimeter of a cluster of hooches.

Hooyah lays in front of Hunter. Ears tuned into a hooch.

Hunter signals to flank the hooch. He, Bugs and Einstein

stalk forward silently. On Hunter's signal THEY BURST IN.

INT. HOOCH -- NIGHT(A HEARTBEAT)

The SEALs BURST in the door. Two VC look up from charts on

a

table.

SEALS

DUNG LAI!

Hunter and Bugs RUSH forward. The dog FLIES past them. HITS

a

VC going for a gun. DRIVES HIM TO THE FLOOR.

Bugs and Einstein secure one prisoner while Hunter pulls the

snapping dog off the one that went for the gun.

HUNTER

Holy shit.

Bugs and Einstein look where Hunter looks. The VC lies

staring on the floor. Head twisted oddly. Neck broken.

Hunter holds the snarling dog back as Bugs searches the

prisoner watching the dog with terrified eyes.

Einstein examines the charts on the table.

EINSTEIN

Chief...take a look at this.

Hunter goes to the table. Studies the charts laid out.
